Fine turned & carved English bone chessmen one side stained red other side left natural.
Pawns with urn shaped turned stems, knights as fine carved horses heads all typical of the period.
The chessmen come with Victorian English tooled leather chess board the squares in red & tan with gilt decorated borders.
Chessmen come in same period English mahogany dovetailed lift top box.
Kings 8.25 CM Tall Board 35.5 CM Squares 4 CM
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
