Fine mahogany folding board box, the exterior in mahogany with ebony & boxwood border to chess board, chess board squares inlaid in boxwood & mahogany. The interior with boxwood & ebony inlaid backgammon board. The central panels with boxwood decorated star shape typical design of George III era .
The board comes with boxwood turned dice shaker in the form of a turret and ebonised & boxwood backgammon counters from the 1800’s.
Board and pieces retain an excellent polished finish.
