English turned & carved bone Stauton chess set, one side stained red other side left natural. Good detailed carved knights. pieces with green baize to bases.
Set comes in original mahogany lift top box.
Set comes with same period English mahogany chess board , the frame with mitred corners, squares inlaid in boxwood & walnut.
Kings 7.5 CM Tall. Board 35.5 CM Squares 3.8 CM
Set & board retains an excellent original French polished finish.
