Fine large turned & carved bone chessmen, one side stained brown other side left natural.
Kings and queens with petal shaped galleries , rooks as towers.
Set in the Selenus pattern from the mastercraftsmen of Nuremberg Germany.
Set comes in original stained pine slide lid box.
Set comes same period mahogany chess board , the squares inlaid in rosewood and boxwood with original French polished finish.
Kings 10 CM tall Board 37 CM x 33 CM Squares 3.6 CM
