Fine rosewood folding board box, the rosewood exterior with birds eye maple & rosewood inlaid chess squares, the chess board border strung in boxwood with rosewood band.
The interior top in birds eye maple , the backgammon board inlaid in ebony & birds eye maple.
The backgammon counters in rosewood & ebonised. The counters with fine Holtzapffel Ornamental decorated sides in various different patterns. counters 3.5 CM diameter. 30 counters.
The Backgammon shakers cups in walnut with turned decoration & alternate French polished bands.
The cups & counters same period as the backgammon board.
With four vintage dice.
