Fine German bone playing set , one side stained dark brown other side left natural.
Pieces with multi turned decorated stems. from the master turners of Nuremberg.
The set comes in original stained pine slide lid box.
Set comes with same period fine oak chess board the raised frame in oak with two boxwood inlaid borders and boxwood & oak inlaid chess board. Board same date period as the chessmen.
