Fine Austro Hungarian Chess set , the pieces in Silver & silver gilt , with enamel decoration. The pieces tested as solid silver, with signed certificate from Goldsmith.
The attractive raised mahogany board decorated in gilt metal , enamel & gems with pierced gilt baskets to sides which hold the chessmen.
The chess board was a major prop on the hit series ” The Gentlemen in Moscow” 2024 starring Ewan McGregor and comes with production company receipt for hiring” please sea film shot image.
