Fine turned & carved Burmese pattern Set, one side stained red other side left natural.
Kings with unusual pierced decorated double collars , kings, queens & bishops with carved faces, pieces with detailed floral decorated bodies, knights as fine carved horses heads rooks as towers surmounted by flags.

These sets although known as the Burmese pattern were made in Canton / Macao for the export market.
