Circa 1840-1880
German bone playing set one side stained dark brown other side left natural. Pieces of typical Selenus pattern with kings and queens with piereced galleries , with slender turned bodies.
The chessmen come with same period mahgoany moulded frame chess board and softwood lift top box all same period as the chessmen.
Kings 11 CM Tall , Board 38 CM Squares 4 CM
All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
