REF1775 Fine Dieppe Bust Set & Box
Circa 1810-1820

Fine carved French bone bust set from Dieppe area France.
The Chessmen turned & carved in bone, one side stained red other side left natural.

The natural as European court with pawns wearing Napolionic helmets, bishops carved as priests , knights as European cavlery, rooks as slender turned turrets with brick work decoration and the Kings and queens as European monarchs.

The red stained side as moorish court pawns wearing turbans hats, knights as moorish calvarly , kings & queens as Moorish rulers.

Set comes in later made mahogany dovetailed box 1900-1920 in date.

Kings 7 CM Tall

All the sets go through a professional workshop before they go online, any minor faults such as chips or splits are restored, therefore the sets are all in excellent condition.
