Fine English ebony & boxwood staunton chessmen. Fine turned pieces , French polish finish, detailed carved knights and green baize to bases.
Set retains original French polished finish.
Set comes with an English mahogany framed chess board with mahogany & boxwood inlaid squares. Come in mahogany lift top box. Both box and board same period as chessmen.
