German bone playing set one side stained red other side left natural. Pieces of typical Selenus style, from the master turners of Nuremburg. Kings and queens with galleries to stems.
Set comes in mahogany slide lid box same period as chessmen.
Set comes with same period German chess board with attractive ebony & satinwood inlaid border frame, squares inlaid in satinwood & fruitwood.
